In spring 2015 Air Energy delivered a battery system for the first electrical driven gyrocopter worldwide. For this project AutoGyro developed a derivative of their two-seated gyrocopter Cavalon in collaboration with the Bosch Aviation GmbH.
The battery was developed and built by Air Energy and suffices the ambitious requirements relating to weight and power due to this application. From the collaboration with engineers of Bosch Aviation resulted a well attuned electrical powertrain with a safety concept covering all components.
