EIS-BMS
The Electra EL-2 Goldfinch is a two-seat manned demonstrator aircraft designed as a hybrid-electric eSTOL (electric short takeoff and landing).
In October 2023, Air Energy was selected to supply the battery system for the unmanned hybrid-electric VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) Aero2 from the Swiss aviation company Dufour Aerospace.
As part of the funded “SiFlA” project, Air Energy is developing a modular battery concept with which various types of aircraft can be easily electrified.
EIS-BMS
Within the scope of a ZIM project, Air Energy has integrated and tested measurement hardware for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) in a high-voltage battery management system.
KMUProduction.NET
Air Energy develops and manufactures product prototypes to deliver a semi-automatic production demonstration as the project ends.
Solar Impulse I & II
This solar-powered aircraft features a wingspan of 63.4 meters and derives its operating power from 11,628 solar cells and. storing excess energy in four Air Energy-supplied battery packs.
The development and delivery of Li-Ion batteries for AUVs (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) is one of our major focus areas. This development line also includes other applications such as pipeline pigs and ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles).
In spring 2015 Air Energy delivered a battery system for the first electrical driven gyrocopter worldwide.
